The film Robot features Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles with A. R. Rahman working on background score and soundtrack. Produced by Kalanidhi Maran, the film is expected to be a multiple-record breaker: it is currently being made on the highest ever film budget in Indian cinema and is also to see the largest worldwide release for an Indian film. After meticulous filming and production for over two years, the film is currently undergoing post-production work. It is expected to be released worldwide on 24 September 2010.The music of upcoming Bollywood film ‘Robot’ was launched on August 16. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was the chief guest at the event. The film is directed by Tamil film director Shankar Shanmugam and stars Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa among others. The film, with a budget of 1.5 billion Rupees, is touted as the costliest Indian film so far.
